This Report can now be found on the Runnymede BC website at:

It contains major proposals concerning the A320 and it junctions between Chertsey and Woking. The Report is described as providing strategic mitigation measures, including sustainable measures, to support growth along the corridor up to 2036.

Of particular interest to Ottershaw residents will be the proposals for what we know as the “Otter roundabout” (Jct 10 in the Study)and the junction with the southern end of Brox Road (Jct 11 in the Study).

The proposed replacement Otter roundabout is a very complicated arrangement that takes away our village car park and, as yet, does not include proposals for a replacement car park in a suitable location for easy access to the Village Hall and the village shops. The Ottershaw Village Hall are particularly upset about this as it could have a severely detrimental effect on their users

A copy of this roundabout Plan is attached below.

This Report will be part of the Final Runnymede 2030 Local Plan proposals, on which there will be an opportunity to make further representations between mid May and the end of June. We will advise details as soon as they are available.

If you wish to write in now about the proposals in this Study please do so, but also ask that your representations to be recorded as part of the Runnymede 2030 Local Plan responses.
