Petition Against Development of the Palmer Crescent Recreation Area

Runnymede Council are still planning selling the Recreation Area in the centre of Ottershaw Village, in order to build on it. Revised plans are now likely to go ahead –but the green space will be less than half of what it is now.

Unfortunately we need to ask for your support again …

A reminder that the planning application RU.11/0285 has been amended by the developers and resubmitted to the council. If you wrote previously, your letter will not be taken into consideration by the council when they discuss the amended application. This means that if you wish to continue to object to the planned development you will need to confirm that in writing as soon as possible, and certainly by the 9th November. Surrey County Council’s Planning and Regulatory Committee approved plans for the Anaerobic digester and wood chip plant to be located on the far end of the Trumps Farm site at its meeting in October 2011.
